Activity description

These courses provide foundational knowledge, personal-development, employability and applied-learning skills in psychology. Completion does not confer a licence to practise as a psychologist, clinical psychologist, counsellor or other regulated healthcare professional. Training through ethical dilemmas, case studies, confidentiality scenarios, professional-boundary exercises, informed-consent activities and analysis of responsible professional behaviour.

Job prospects

Ethical and responsible handling of people and personal information is important across UAE education, healthcare, HR, social-support and community environments. Psychology is a regulated healthcare profession in relevant UAE contexts. Therefore, this course is particularly relevant as professional-awareness and employability training, rather than as a route to independent psychological practice.
